• Foodie Friday: Easy To Make Mini Quiches

    It’s natural to get hungry about every three to four hours. Having several smaller meals spread throughout the day will actually prevent you from eating too much during lunch and dinner time.

    Your snacks should have some protein in it such as nuts, soy protein products, or nonfat dairy foods like cottage cheese and yogurt.

    Free-range eggs are an excellent source of protein. Unlike the regular kind of eggs, free-range chickens are not kept in cages and have access to the outdoor. The eggs have less fat and cholesterol thus better nutritional profile than regular eggs.

    There are many healthy snacks you can make with eggs, one being quiches. These easy to make mini quiches will not only satisfy your hunger throughout the day but are also really nutritional.

    INGREDIENTS:

    • 6 eggs
    • Spinach
    • Yellow pepper
    • Can of tuna
    • Mozzarella cheese

    INSTRUCTIONS:

    1. Pre-heat the oven 350°.
    2. Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
    3. Place the mix in mini muffin containers.
    4. Place the containers in the oven for 30 minutes

    And voilà! Easy, right?
