• Foodie Friday: Mango and Avocado Salad

    If you follow our nutrition program, you’d know that it’s important to eat 4-5 times a day. It’s not enough to only eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. You should have a small meal in the morning between breakfast and lunch and another one in the afternoon between lunch and dinner. We call it a small meal and not a snack, because some of us have the tendency to associate a snack with chips and/or cookies.


    Today, Coach Erika shows how to prepare a mango and avocado salad, which can be served as a small meal. It takes only 10 minutes to prepare.



    • 2 mangos
    • 2 avocados
    • ¼ cup red cabbage
    • Coriander
    • 1 fresh lemon
    • 2 fresh limes
    • Salmon (optional)


    Chop the mango and avocado into small cubes. Also chop the red cabbage and cilantro into small pieces. To make the dressing, mince the coriander and mix it with fresh lemon and lime juice. Mix everything together. If you want more protein, add salmon! Here you have it: a refreshing and healthy mango and avocado salad!
